Years ago I worked at a beachfront condo, working nights by myself. One night we had a bunch of ice cream that had to be eaten. I went on the rooftop and ate ice cream in the windy sea air surrounded by the sounds of the ocean in the pitch black of night. This album somehow transports me there. I initially overlooked this one since (the first half of) the opening track doesn't jive with me. However, overlooking that, it's probably my favorite TTNG album! A bit more varied and with higher highs (in my opinion) than Disappointment Island but more matured than Animals. thecombinatorax
